Dementia 101: Information for Patients and Caregivers

Dementia is not normal aging. Currently 1 in 10 people over age 65 and 1 in 3 people over age 85 have some form of dementia. And while true dementia is not reversible, survival after a dementia diagnosis can range from 2 to 21 years depending on the type of dementia, age at onset, and other medical conditions.
